For those who do not live near a Nalandabodhi center or study group, [1] Nalandabodhi provides the option of taking the Nalandabodhi Path online. The online study program materials and assignments are identical to those in the Nalandabodhi centers.
Online study students are provided with source books based on the teachings of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.
Online classes take place in an e-learning class format. Along with weekly reading assignments and study questions, this format consists of weekly online audio lectures prepared by the instructors of the course which supplement the weekly readings, charts, and other supporting materials. There is also the opportunity to work with other students and instructors in an online discussion forum.
Online study students are expected to fulfill all the normal curriculum requirements, which includes two exams per course (both written), online tuition, and sourcebook materials' costs and shipping. Completion of exams is a prerequisite to registration and acquiring sourcebook materials for subsequent classes.
Online classes are offered throughout the year. For further information, please contact onlinestudy@nalandabodhi.org.
------------ |1| Typically participants near a Nalandabodhi Center or Study Group should take the curriculum at the Nalandabodhi center. For special circumstances, please contact the curriculum director.
